Blackberries are a great source of fiber and contain an abundance of vitamins (C and K in particular). There are organic powder and extracts that are also a great source of flavonoids and antioxidants.

The sweet and succulent berry goes by many names (e.g. brambleberries, bramble, dewberry, and thimbleberry). It can be found throughout Europe and North America. You might have noticed that when a blackberry is picked the stem stays with it (as opposed to a raspberry that gets hollowed out when picked).

Uses and Benefits:
Blackberries are known as a delectable culinary treat, and as having several medical qualities. Aside from enjoying them on their own (highly recommended) salads, teas, desserts, jams, and even cocktails are some of the common ways in which these berries are enjoyed. The famous syrup that Oprah loves is another great blackberry item.
